Tiffany has almost 20 years of marketing experience with over 15 of them focusing on her passion, Digital Media and Marketing. At REFUGE, she oversees the Digital Division, which involves all aspects of Online Marketing including Social Media Management, Website Design and Development, Content Creation, Email Marketing and Advertising.
Tiffany’s career in the digital arena started at global trade publications. She focused on creating new digital products that complemented or leveraged their existing print products. This kept them ahead of the shift in publishing from pure print to a sizeable digital presence. This also gave her a keen insight as to what key factors make digital media work and how to measure its success.
She joined The REFUGE Group from Gulf Publishing Company, where she served as Senior Marketing Director before being promoted to Digital Media Director. During her tenure at Gulf Publishing Company, Tiffany received several Crystal Awards from the American Marketing Association, including the coveted Maverick Award, and numerous American Graphic Design Awards. Tiffany has a BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the University of Houston. She also received a Level Two Spanish Certification from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina and studied art history and literature at the Santa Chiara Study Center in Italy.
Tiffany began her post college career in Buenos Aires working for Gulf Oil Argentina SA before returning to Houston to begin her career in marketing. In 2002, she started at PennWell; where she was quickly promoted to Digital Media Manager for the Petroleum Group. In 2004, she moved to Atlantic Communications where she served as Sales & Marketing Director, as well as the Director of the Offshore Engineer Conferences & Events (OECE) division. She joined Gulf Publishing Company in 2007.
